make sure you close the air vents 1st or if you drop the screws then you have to pull it all apart to get them.

Yeah was pretty tricky the first time but easy as now. I have the blue pioneer 4 inch 2 ways in there. If you are putting new speakers in you will have to run new wires because the stock stereo uses a common earth for both speakers and new HU's don't work with them.

P.S. the screws next to the windscreen are a biatch LOL.

isnt much of a gap, i doubt youd be able to jam anything in there much higher that the stock parks. 4inchies generally arent that thick anyway.

Pioneer 4 inchs are the only ones that fit, thats according to all the car audio people I asked when I was hunting for speakers. The magnets are too big on the others and they wont sit in the hole.

I have two-way xplod four inches in mine, pretty much stuffed, had to put them in sideways but hell you cant really see them. Thinking of changing them to pioneers, with blue leds to go with the rest of the interior.

When i remove the covers, i just spin the bottom vent so it squeezes apart (saves breaking it by removing), close the vent and undo the screws.

Well it wasn't JB back then it was "HIFI supermarket" but its now JB (was owned by JB anyway). around $10 cheaper. I paid around $60ish.

Those JVC look ok Mag, you got em running off the deck like me? Ya can't really hear em much unless ya fade forward huh. They aren't designed to crank really tho I suppose.

Yep running off the deck the same but noticeable enough I'd say, with fade I run 70% back and the other 30% front..
Depends on the head unit I guess but they only do voice and mid-range...
