    Default changing radiator fluid

    hey, how do i change my radiator fluid? i have no fluid left in the plastic contanier and ive heard its bad to mix fluids so i have to drain the radiator aswell, how do i do this?

    Maybe the first question should be WHY is the overflow bottle empty???
    I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

    you have to bleed the system by unscrewing some bolts etc. Too technical to explain but there is a thread about this.

    you can put water in the storage tank but you need to find out where the fluid is leaking from
    with the engine warmed up, stop the car and look for leaks
    changing the fluid is complicated, get a workshop manual, elleries isnt bad

    a new radiator cap is a good investment as these eventually all fail, allowing water loss
