A/Cand Heater Fan

Hey guys, ive just noticed that my heater fan has stoper working the heat still comes out just the fan wont go on ne speeds. Also ive noticed that my cigarette lighter isnt working either i was just wondering if they have the same fuse or some thing maybe its blown i dont have my car with me so i cant check..

Ne one got ne suggestions.

mines does the same thing... cigareete lighter doesnt work,
no matter what setting the fan / ac is on, is jus makes noise but does nothing.. lol
there is a fuse in the fuse box that powers the cigarette lighter, but about the fans im not too sure.. still gotta figure it out 4 myself.. :S

yep im in the same boat, my cigerat light dosnt work as it earths on the metal bracket that holds it, which cause teh fuse for the cig and blower 2 blow
so ive left the cigi unplugd at he back, it helps with stoping ppl smoking in ur car and + the blower is more important for the demisting of the front windows

hmmm so, what do i do just replace the fuse or what.

could be taht its just the fuse blown, or it could be some thing else like bad earth, shorting or the cigi is playing up liek mine

my cigi works if i sit it out dangerling down but its jsut ugerly so i dont bother with it and shove it bak in,

replace the fuse
and try the cigi and blower and if it blows try removing teh cigi cables and replace the fuse, and if it works its proberly the same as me shorting out on the frame bracket

k yeah cos every thing used to work persect till the other night, trying to deliver pizzas in a car where the front demister wont work aint good, and having all the windows down when its raining and freezing to try and see and no heater.... That night sucked lol

i had a prob with fan, the screw holding it in came loose,and fell out ,it fell sideways which blu the fuse ,check that

the screw holding the earth wire or the screw holding the the whole fan options..

and my fuse is blow for my cigarete lighter but no the a/c heater fan fuse....

Ill replace my fuse tomorow

im such a dick ead it was just a fuse, but i missed it cos it was the cigarete lighter fuse that blow haha im a idiot but ne way all fixed up now.

my switch for directing the heater around the car plays up and the fan wont come on unless its in a certain position. I have heard people have many problems with the switch.

Mine still works but if you set it for a cartain place like the windscreen it has to be in an exact position or it wont work which is very fiddly trying to get it to come on.

yah i have that exat problem too, might have to find the spare out of the shed and see if that works

yeah mine is very touchy bout what spot to place each switch.
