i don't think it would fit under the bonnet would it? they have the same filter from memory upto VS, from VT on it is different, so the other dimensions are right except possibly height.
You can use either the Series II VS or early (VN/VP) SV type air box lids. I have attached pics of the two. They both flow alot better then the factory one.

you'd also have to try and mount the AFM differently.
That second pic of airstrikes is a HSV vs airbox top which I was gonna use, planned to turn the whole airbox 90 degrees so the top points in the right direction and use the normal method for VL CAI (pipe from underneath).
Its bound to flow better, look at the shape of it.
Second one aint a HSV one Chris. Its was on the Series II VS. Its based on the HSV one in the other pic.Originally Posted by ucwepn
There is no better flowing V6 one you could use.

When I'm at my girlfriend's place next I'll try and fit the air box top from my VP onto her VL, I'll let you know how I go. And yes, the V8 air box tops won't fit, but maybe the VN-VS V6 ones might.

The still fit. Those fittings are just Bolted on with Allen Keys, so you can change the Elbow to the opposite way, and bolt it up as normal.

Any V6 airbox from the VN to the VS looks exactly the same. Same as the VL one but taller. Still not big enough for me though, I'm going to try to fit a VY SS box to my VP. More air I say!!!

Ok, I pulled the air box out of my VP, compared it to the one in the VL, same air box except for the plumbing going to the intake. The VN-VS one is significantly larger, but the VL plumbing bolts straight in.
