i know 18's fit perfect with ultra lows and rolled guards so i think the 19's would be fine

Yeah 19's with like a 30 profile tyre should be fine with rolled guards, I have 18's with the stock springs and it rubs sometimes (guards not rolled) on the front.

    Are your guards rolled?

I'll get some pics of mine as soon as I get it back.

mi gaurds arnt rolled n the cut springs in the back are better now than before they were cut there are also a very stiff spring thats why it can sit so low and not scrub.

I wish I could appreciate cars with big rims but it just looks stupid with my eyes, for me the more of the black stuff you can see, the tougher it looks. There was a recent issue of street machine with a HK/T/HG Monaro on the cover, I saw on in the newsagents. It was the worst looking Monaro I have even seen in my life. I stood there and looked at it, the only thing on the that could have ruined it was the huge rims and low profile tires. That was just 100% wrong.

I have a theory that a black VN with polished centerlines 15x8inch rims with 245's stuffed under the back and 15x7 inch rims on the front with 225's would be a beastly looking thing

just on the monaro there...i reckon the old muscle cars need lots of rubber to, i mean the rears have to be fatties, and white walls cant go wrong...mmmm...
Need some parts for my VH 253:
Green standard steering wheel...Green lower B-pillar covers.
Green sunglasses holder/lower dash bits...Air-con and assorted engine bay parts.
    PM with any info.

YES !!! The beast in question is "HSVSS"

The monaro.....well, its different. I like it because its an old shool munro, which I would feel happy to die in one ! BUT...........

Old school doesn't normaly work well with modern style rims etc.
At the end of the day, I think it comes down to personal taste.
The majority of us are use to the "prostock" style when it comes to rubber......185 on the front, with 275 on the back. Great in a straight line, but hit a corner and ya screwed. The beuty in question would handle the corners quite well, and be a deterent to doing burnouts on the street, as tyres that f*#king HUGE arnt cheap.

    Have a nice day !!!

Still will sit lower then that, not enough weight to push it down entirely.
