havnt seen one until now, looks alot more like a calais than a berlina. Its got the calais pop-ups, door moulds ...... dont know what the interior beholds but except for the chrome on the door moulds and side skirts, its a calais from the outside. havnt seen the rear end either
Edit* ok just looked at the pik or yours and it doesnt have pop-ups so my bad, u got the lower door moulds but. hang onto them they worth money

I dont know about them only being available in gold. I have seen a Navy blue over silver (Eucumbene blue) Series 200. And it was factory. There is a gold one in my area.
They are a nice example of a VL, they got most of the Berlina / Calais gear. They had no Calais front on them from factory.

i know its an old post but thought i would give it a go as i am trying to restore one to its original glory.
miss knoxy, maybe you could help? do you have any picks of the original cassette head unit for a series 200 vl?
