    Default blowing fuses

hey, ive just come across a very bad problem with my vl. my low beam and high beam fuses blow every time on turn on the lights, so for the past week ive been driving home in the dark. i use 30A fuses, and the standar 12V, 30A relay. befor they were working fine, but then just one night, they started blowing up! any idea what may be causing this?

i had the same problem mate, check that the rear bulbs are 2 stage bulbs in ur brake lights.. u will know which ones need 2 stage bulbs coz inside where the bulb goes in it has 2 metal strips instead of one and on the bulb there should be 2 little limps on the end that goes into the light holder.. if it has one lump on the globe, and its in a 2 stage fitting, it will blow every time coz its shorting it out and sending a current back to the fuse.. all up there should be 4 of the 2 stage bulbs and the rest are 1 stage bulbs (1 stage bulbs only have 1 lump on the metal end) ....
