hey do you guys know iff the 5 speed in the r31skyline with the rb30 is the same as a vl 5 speed?

yeh it would be the same box but the manual wiring loom is different so if u can try and get a vl manual wiring loom, good luck with tht but.

i know the looms are different coz i needed a manual loom and couldnt get 1 but was told i could modify the skyline one ..... we prolly could but its a bit too scetchy for me.

ok kool thanks was just interested cause im gettin a r31 to put the motor in me vl and was guna sell the 5 speed to me mate to put in his vl but just needed to see if they were the same.
any one know what a 5 speed with clutch ect will be worth?
peddles in the r31 be different to the vl?

not sure about the pedal box, the shape of the cars is different so it could very well be different, but then again it could be the same.

i bought a 5speed box with clutch, flywheel, clutch master and slave cylinder pedal box and crossmember for $500. I bought it with the engine still attached to i had all the clutch and flywheel bits.

skyline and commodore use a different clutch setup don't they? ones hydraulic and the other is cable? i could be wrong but i think someone told me that a while ago.
