yes autos and manual NA rb30s have the same diff ratio. mainly turbos and V8s had disc rear ends.

VN onwards 6 cyl are 3.08. All 6 cyl vl's turbo or NA are 3.45 Borg warner. Most NA vl's out there are drum brake rear. NA 6 cyl rear disc setup uses the 25 spline 2 pinion open wheeler diff. Turbo gets 28 spline 4 pinion.

Yeah you have to swap the booster, otherwise the rear discs always stay on a little due to the drums needing a constant higher PSI than the discs do.

Well I've done a bit of studying in this area LOL, The info I found for the disc brake rear conversions being done on VL's was that there is a PSI difference between the master cylinders because the drums are using the extra psi to keep the shoes open because they are spring loaded. And that if you use the drum master cylinder on a disc brake rear conversion you will get a small amount of brake drag because the pad will be touching the disc. Calais turbo are the best for VL tech articles, I swear by the guys there.

There are dreamers on every type of forum on the net, its just human nature rofl

Whats the reason for the 3.36 diff ratio? Wouldnt you prefer the 3.45 VL ratio instead, and the Borg Warner diff is stronger than the big salisbury diffs?

No VL Turbo's had the 3.45 ratio also. Same diff as the VL V8 (4 pinion, 28 spline), but with the 3.45 ratio.
