Hi im having a problem ive just been to the mechanics they said i have sum leaks in the cooler piping & maybe the AFM
my car is playing up sumtimes idles really LOW like 400 wen im sitting at lights and sumtimes idles ok, and i can be cruising 60kmh then put my foot down and it kinda backfires sounds like a WRX or sumfing boop boop and shudders back and forward kinda like im missing a cylinder?
Could this be my SPARK plugs/ Ignition leads or a mate told me its my CAS but the mechanics had my car for 2 hrs and im sure they wud have told me if it were the CAS

yeah sum kinda leak in the cooler piping or sumthing he said, for sum reason im leaning towards spark plugs and ignition leads :S wat u rekon? & wat leads and spark plugs wud u reccomend for a turbo?
Cooler piping leak will do it.
I have 10mm Top Gun leads and NGK spark plugs.
I'm leaning for a leak in the piping too, if thats what he reckons then its worth having a look, check all your joins and just make sure theres no cracks etc.
Is your car going thru alot of fuel too?
get a can of aerostart it works great spray it on ya pipnin and fittings and if there is a leak the revs will pick up mine did the same thing i got a turbo too and it worked great

the thing that still has me puzzled is that it only does it wen the car is at normal operating TEMP like u can drive it for say 15 - 20mins its fine THEN my OIL PRESSURE drops really low and then it starts 2 shudder, rough idle at the lights etc and misfire
last nite i was driving i pulled over a few times and it starts up again straight away 1st turn of the key even wen its still runnin shit so i think i can EXCLUDE the CAS cos if it were the CAS it wudnt start 1st time
the points on teh inside of your dizzy cap? u checkd them as mine was doing that run fine till it got 2 normal operation temp then when it got there kept missfiring , i just sanded the points clean and prob solved
