    Question Rear de-mister

The rear demister on my VL series 2 wont work at all, i hit the button on the dash and nothing.

I'm not sure if this is how its meant to be but... say i have the head lights on, the demister light will be on, and if i then push the demister button it will stay on but it will be brighter.

Another little problem i am having is that the accelerator is quite hard to push in, well not really hard but it could be easier. Is that mine or are all VL's like this? i have narrowed it down to the tbody, the linkages are all free and not tight. the pedal spring is not too tight.

    Greatly appreciated
    Thanks in advance Stewart

the demister light is right. its meant to come on with the headlights and brighter when you push the button.

try WD40 on the linkages to free up the accelerator.

yeah I tried wd40, heaps of it and cleaned the spring, but its still tight, i think it might be a new spring sprung too tight o9r somethign alogn the lines of that. any ideas? i Removed the front bumper and found out it needs a near rad support panel but i don't know how to remove that either, it seems to be stuck to the chassis... any ideas on that either?

    Thanks Stewart
