Hi guys i need some help again on a problem im getting 'low oil pressure' after a 10min drive or so.
When i start the car oil pressure goes up to where it shud b past half way its fine then when ive been driving for a bit it seems 2 drop and when it drops thats when the car plays up, misfires, idles really bad and feels like it wants 2 stall.
B4 all that she runs good wiv all the power in the world only until the oil pressure drops she clowns around on me.
Wud this have anything 2 do wiv the 'oil pump'? or sumfing else CAS even?. i have changed leads, sparks etc..
worn big ends would be the likely problem. once the oil heats up and thins, the worn big ends causes less oil to get to the top of the motor. just a thought anyway.

My oil pressure is max on the gauge when cold and only goes toward low when hot at idle, while driving not below half..
I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

Could be two probs .Don't rule out electrical or other fault at sender and/ or gauge PLUS CAS or other fault. Go to a service centre, engine reconner where they have a screw in oil pressure gauge and verify first.Even the voltage regulator or earth on dash may be dikkee.Bestaluk Groucho![]()
