Bumper Repair or Replace ???

My trusty VL has the original bumpers, and with wagons being alittle thinner on the ground, it's even harder to find a good rear bumper for a wagon.

Is there a thread that can show me how to repair, or do I have to replace ??

Any help would be great !

if its cracked i dont think u will be able to plastic weld the bar, as its a harder plastic then that is used on the bars to day and is more brittle

the bars are 3 peices so you dont have to fine the whole bar just the part you need,
my front bar is stuffd and i was looking for a bar s/hand but nothing, i was told just to buy the new bar for like 100 buxs complete because a good undamaged bars is rare s/hand 4 vls

rears for sedans are easier to find.... seems VL's tend to get into lots front end mischief

i tried to get one fixed and a panel beater said its not possible. you'll have to replace it.

Made afew calls today...........

1 store $275 fornt or rear

1 wreakers $225 front or rear

Store 2 - Group A ( HDT ) style front $ 200 !!!!!!!!!!!

" - " " rear $ 215 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have both on order, now just have to decide on colour !!!
