I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!
RIP Peter (perfect) Brock....
It it stays at max it means the gauge is getting power to it but it is not connected. As the car warms it should get lower and lower to the point of when the car is hot it will not read very high at all.
so any solutions to this prob? would it be my wiring at the motor or behind the dash?
and to get it straght, when i start the car it gose straght to max presure(when cold) then car gets to normal temp and its still at max, dosnt even move at all wont go down or anything

Try disconnecting the plug and giving a clean with some contact cleaner.
contact cleaner hay? is this a spray as there is no way to get at the cables contacts as its got a plasic sleave around
and the sensor i highly dout it as it was doing this before i changed sensor

start by cleaning the muck from the sender and electrical connection to it, it screws into the block near the oil filter
