crank angle sensor QUESTION
hey guys im just wondering wen i get a crank angle sensor do i need a turbo one or any one i have a berlina turbo and i spoke 2 an auto elec and he said a turbo one is the betta go is this tru or wud a normal one work fine?

as far as i know they are the same but i could be mistaken. i don't recall seeing 2 options when i looked up the part number in an ACA book. the only options are the CAS by itself or in a kit with the plug and dizzy bearing.

nah they are the same, get a normal one. no need to be different as the turbo or boost doesnt affect it.
my web sitestuff on the XF throttle body conversion, calais interior and lots of other junk!
i thought they where different because they have something to do with how the computer works but im not 100% sure

nah some aftermarket ecus have problems running with aftermarket CAS but work well with genuine CAS, and i have never heard of a turbo type of CASOriginally Posted by BLACKJET

Yep, fitted a new one about 6 months ago, when i ordered it, they just needed to know what car it was, they all the same!
