when cranking motor over ,seems its like flat batt , but will crank and start seems like missing teeth on flywheel ?// or starter motor

when i turn over moter ,it seems like it dous not engage, and sort of clicks ,it may do it 2-3 times, then it seems to engage, then starts ok, i dont think its the battery
might be starter motor, computer? could be anything.
when u say 'engage' do u mean like when its winding over?

sounds like starter to me - seems to be a standard issue with the VL's from what I hear - lol. Mine does it - and it's even beein recon'd!
