it might be a thing as in order, because mine is stamped as 86 - H - 03 it might mean that all faults before are recterfide, but the later ones 87-H-02 and 88-H-02 were not as they were discoverd in later yrs

oh interesting, thanks for posting that up.
I reckon the complete fuse box setup should have been fixed too.
Mine completely melted, lucky it didn't catch fire.
yah that is a intressing point why didnt holden do anyhting with the fuse box, suppose the fuse box prob might have only started to affect teh plastic when teh cables and the plastic rail got old in the box

Lots & lots of VLs with melted fuserails/boxes, & few VK's too....
There is a PCB for VLs that seems to be pretty good replacement, fair sure there was a guy on the net (ebay, CT?) selling them at one stage.

yeah about the fuse box melting, i have seen one or two in work where they have pot extra lights onto the car and bridged them off the low or high bean wires and that creates so much extra amp's to flow and the fuse cant cope with it, and neither can the wires.
my web sitestuff on the XF throttle body conversion, calais interior and lots of other junk!
