Coolant overflow tank

hey theres 2 blackhoses coming of the coolant overflow tank. One goes too the raditor tank where does the other other one go on too?

my runs down to the chassi rail, think it is a breater or it is for if the tank over flows

its for the overflow to drain onto the ground.

these plastic overflow tanks have been known to split
in my VL before I got it, all the water leaked out of the plastic tank and the engine overheated so badly that a new exchange engine was needed

mines broken on the side a bit, all the ones at the wreckers are the same...but i have been losing a little bit of coolant....not sure if i got a leak in the hose or if its coming out of the overflow, it's a fair amount im losing in 3-4days.

There are dry coolant stains around the lid where it is running out, how do i stop thgis...there doesn't look like to be much of a seal in the lid.
