series 200 limited edition?

hey guys, im just posting up here for a mate of mine. he bought a VL recently and its a "Series 200"

if anyone knows of this model or has any information about this model whatsoever so u please post it up, as my mate is really interested to see if his car came with any extra goodies

from my understanding its just a dealership special. there were a few types. the opera house edition was another one. there was nothing exclusive put on the car. just a gimmick to sell more cars as the value of the yen went up so the vl cost more to make and holden had to try and make the money back as they were under contract for the rb30. most of the special editions were v8 as holden already owned these so was a better option to make their money back with.

ill let my mate kno, he got the car in as it is in the pic for 3500, not a bad price seeing it was in good nick.

There were 600 built according to the original sales Brochure and it was for Australia's 200th Anniversary,
the series 200 has normal SL front, just has calais filled headrests in front, calais style interior crossed with berlina.
other features were 15" wheels with turbo type hubcaps, colour coded bars, and possibly a calais steering wheel..
