Default how to check lower RH side fuses?

how are the fuses, etc checked in the place low down on the right of the dash board?
I removed the cover and theres a gold coloured metal box in there, I undid 2 screws below but the box wont move
should this box come out? if so do the plugs at one end have to be taken out

I cant see what to do

Harry fuses are under the bonnet, there's none in the lower cover( r/hand) of the dash ,, that left overs of earlier models.. Holden didn't want to spend money 4 a new lower section dash..
I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

thanks for that info, my elleries VL workshop manual got it wrong
it also advises to turn the auto trans handle sideways when removing the centre console, which cant be done without wrecking it and the wires for the power mode button inside
