    Default Ecu question.......

Hi all, Has anyone heard of a resistor which you can put in the Intake Air temp sensor, which fools the computer into thinking it is getting cold air all the time................??

A friend of mine has one and he put it on his vn 5lt.....and it makes it go a lot harder than stock.....just wondering if the same thing will work for the rb 30.....

    Any help greatly appreciated.......cheers

Whoa, I wonder if it would be even more effective with performance air-filter and CAI?

Waste of money, theres more information floating around about it, tricks the ecu, but its not worth it.

Agreed... It'll stuff up your car even more... Your fuel won't burn properly and cause poor fuel economy

they sell them on ebay all the time. not worth it. there's a thread on here already about them. it'll do more harm than good to have it.

they're a waste of time and money. i just got my ECU remapped, dyno tuned etc... cost $200 for 10kw gain but has better fuel consumption, throttle response, smoother idle etc... well worth the money PM me if you want the number/address

Oi where did you go to get that done, I was considering taking my VL to D&T tuning to see if they could do it... However, I dunno if it is worth it, or if D&T are any good...
