just making a thread to see how fast pickup your cars are?..
jus for interest
i got a N/A auto vl and clocked 10.23 scs 0 - 80 kms
it aint the best but hey, vls arnt the fastest

That's bad i think... I got a dead stock rb30 and i know it get's to 80kmph in 10 second's with my foot only half way down... I might check tomorrow.

yeh i wasnt to happy with the result. its not exaclty accurate coz dad was timing me as i was driving, and i sed stop as i got to 80.
i shudda done better as i got a major service 2 days ago.
but there could have been other factors while i did the time.
eg wind speed/ direction, road surface, gradient.
i jus made this thread to compare

yah i havnt managed to time my self at this, not going to put it into any brakets as i have now clue really, is there actualy any acurate timing method besides stop watch?? dosnt gtech only do to 100?

Gtech does to 100 and 1/4 mile, the newer ones do more, like 1/8th mile and such. What's up with the 0-80? 0-100 is the legal official spec. Anyway good VL's with a bit of extra timing or an exhaust or both will be in the low 9's to 100. That guy in the burnout video I posted from the drags he was running 10.4 on the 1/8th mile which is only like .2-.3 seconds slower than the average VN V6, so it must be a fair bit quicker than most VL's

i beleive sabby is a L platers so legally he is able to go only to 80km/h,
we should also make this 0-100km time for actual reading.

L platers still have a 80 speed limit in some places? that law was around back in the dark ages, they got rid of it because it was so dangerous on the highways

i only did it to 80 coz thats wat i timed myself at, didnt get round to doing it to 100.
L platers can go any speed i think. well i do lol, the legal speed tho.

Gee, Crikey Mod, some of us like me, are still workin out the forum.
I'm not sure why you are cranky at people doing stuff that is illegal afterall, we have a point system and fines in every state to deter people from speeding.

The law is put in place to cause some semblance of control.

We all know that, no one is 100% perfect, that's why we have fines etc.

I find it funny that you sware at us (shit) when we might be bullshitting what we get upto, or conversley are totally honest.

I mean, if I say that I trash every red light and my car has 550HP and that I do this or that then its sort of open to scrutiny by the forum if ya know what I mean.
