    Default tyre choice?

hey guys...i am currently driving on g grid (3's or III's...not sure) and have not been entirely satisfied.
at the moment my front wheels are ok but the rears are in dire need of replacing but am not sure to get a new brand or stick with the g grids.
i prefer a more aggressive looking tyre like the g grids.
what advice can anyone give me.
    cheers guys

If its the look your after - cant help. If its grip, wet performance and value for money the Firestone TZ100 215's (15") are it for me. I'm running them on 2 VN commodores and very happy with them. Low noise, very good steering response and very good traction off the lights.

If you're after size 205/65R15 I can recommend Kumho KH15 if you can still get them. I put them on the VS exec when I still had it 12 months ago. They were only $95 in that size too. Very grippy and extremely quiet. They are available in 215/60R16 but they may have been superseeded for a newer model. I would have gone 17" Kumho on the Calais without a second thought if I had the money. Instead I went with Falken ZE326. They were only $130 for 235/45R17. Not a high performance tyre but a nice non directional tyre 'touring' tyre with performance looks.

Do you have a price range you want to spend?

I still recommend the Kumho KH15. They are available in 225/60/15 and according to the updated Australian Kumho website they are still available.
