Need help, have done the wiring to the crank sensor, having trouble with the dizzy, cap off, etc. I need to remove the small timing wheel and shaft to remove the sensor unit. any help would be great. Thankyou::![]()
TO remove the disc you need to undo the screw inside the shaft from the top.(there could be a rubber or felt plug in the top of the shaft that has to be removed so you can see the screw) Then you can lift off the top half of the shaft so the disc can be removed.Be careful with the disc so you dont bend or crack it. Next i think you have to use a hammer and punch to hit the little pin out of the drive gear on the bottom, then pull the gear off so the shaft will come out through the top of the housing. Now you should be able to undo the three screws that hold the CAS in and remove it.![]()
