does enybody know of a good windscreen rust repairer, around penrith to blacktown nsw

yer know that ,some of the best shops around here ,but some better than others, better to get some info from other people in the know

Not sure how bad the rust is... But if it is till surface rust sand it off... Got told by a pannel beater to use a flathead screwdriver to dig out the rust and then putty it. So water will not get in there and then paint over it.

i did mine myself but replaced the winscreen at the same time... used a grinder with a wire wheel then copper welded the holes up ground back smooth, prep,paint, then got a pro to put in a new w/screen for me, its pretty easy but also depends on how bad the rust is

grinding back and wire bit on a drill is good for the top but on the other side of the metal it will still have rust and in a few years itll work back though, personally i think while its there infront of you stripd and ready why skip the job and bodge it up to only fix later. do it while its there and exposed properly

might help to try starting a thread in the NSW secion to see what some people reckomend, might find it more helpful then here as they are all in the same state not around Australia
