Idle up when cold

I have fitted a custom plenum to my RB30 and i need an extra air supply for fast idle on cold starts, i think the auxilary air control valve which sits behind the coil pack it what i need, but does anyone know if this needs an electronic signal to close and open or does it work by a bi-metal spring inside which closes the valve itself when it gets hot.

Does anyone know which valve i need to do this, as i have an aftermarket computer with no cold start fast idle air output, so i need one which opens, and closes by itself.

Anyhelp would be much appreciated.

Ahhhh, ok.

Bit of a bugger it doesnt have the cold start feature.

I guess that was one bonus of buying the Autronic.
