i was doing some research and i found the use of oil squirters can lower your oil pressure. is this true?
also if it is true will it be compensated by the use of a N1 oil pump?
Hi bangers,
The only oil 'squirters' I can think of are jets to cool the underside of your pistons and some nascars actually use oils jets to cool the valve springs on their V8's.
What exactly are you talking about?

the ones to cool the underside of the pistons.
Bangers,
From a pure theoretical pont of view, the more outlets you put in a system, the lower the pressure will be, now saying that, you can upgrade your oil pump to maintain a higher system pressure then if you decide to tap the block and install some piston jets, you can play around with orifice sizes on these to both get the result you want without dangerously lowering your system oil pressure. You could do a bit of R&D here and a fair bit of maths, you should come out on top. This is where the internet is your friend too, see if anyone else has done it and how.
Cheers
Maniac
thanks maniac.
