being that you have a VS, you will need to find the feed wire for the dash. That's what I had to to.. A little tricky if you don't know how to read circuit boards!

    Mine was quite easy:P
Just take the Red Lead(positive) and hook it to back of the Ciggie Lighter. Black(earth/Neg) To a bolt where your instrument panel is bolted to Dash. u will find a good earth. green(sensor wire) Attach it to the wiring loom at the back of the instrument panel. i will post a pic tomorrow showing u which wire it is i forgot sorry. there is only abuot 12 wires. I think it was a grey one.

well i dont need a shift light but i like the monster tach i think they look sweet and dont be fooled by the ricer look as some serious amercian race cars have monster tachos e.g nascar ect and also it compliments the setup ive got but everyones different and thats what makes us individuals! and yeah should have a few pics up soon maybey by monday arvo (going away with the family camping for the long weekend) i might have a few by tonight maybe... also ive just picked up an absolute score of ebay full nearly brand new top half turbo conversion for $400 (the guys bottom half of the motor failed) so new head and turbo cam inc seals, cross over, exhuast manifold, turbo injection manifold (all new injectors)

if you pull ur dash cluster out, you'll find that you dont need to penetrate the firewall WHAT SO EVER or send any wires down to the engine bay!!! all the wires are there behind your dash... even if you dont have a tacho dash... i did it in the old SL... made life so much easier
