Angry oil squirters are they real or bs ?

ok ive been on (cal/turb) looking up about theses so called oil squirters that suposedly squirt oil onto the bottom of the pistons on the rb30et motor but some people say they dont exist and others say they do the reason im asking is that im in the process of doing the rb30e to rb30et and im a strong believer of (DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME) and now ive hit a wall in the build process as theres no point in doing the conversion if you need these oil squirters as going by some (thats if these squirters exist) its a nightmare to set them up on the n/a block anyone that knows for a fact if they are real or not or anyone got pics of the 2 blocks (rb30e/rb30et) with the pics of theses squirters

    bs.

from what i understand they were only used in the skyline gtr motors, to cool the piston... and with lower internal temperatures, myou could run a few degrees more timing = more power.

they are real, ask bangers. he has got some for the motor his building or is getting some.
also it was the rb25det that had oil squirters factory in them,
asfore blocks, there is no diffrence. just that the turbo block or series two block has all the galleries for the oil and water for the turbo there and ready to use also the turbo blocks have diffrnet pistons to up the compression to 9:1 from 7:6 (na block)

heres a short thread he had oil squirters & oil pressure

they are real. they are on the rb25det block. they will fit the rb30 with slight machining. i have heard that puting them on may lower oil pressure. i did have a rb25det engine i was going to use for parts (eg. head and oil squirters.) but i sold it as i was offered too good a price. in theory they are a good idea but the most powerful rb30et's don't use them........

so will i be able to get away with just useing the n/a block after all without the oil squirters for the turbo conversion without melting the pistons? or do i have to put them on? do they make that much of a diference? i have heard that you can get around this problem (on cal/turb) by replaceing the pistons with ceramic coated jobies but i dont want to pull the whole damn motor apart i want to just bolt the turbo setup on with decompresion plate and bobs ya uncle hit the streets!

the only way you'll burn a hole in the piston is if the car leans out during boost, meaning you don't have enough fuel compared to the amount of air. tons of people do the conversion with a decompression plate and the only drama i've heard of is pinging. you will be fine to do what you want to do. put the turbo injectors and ecu in though.

i have seen squirters/jets used on chevy V8's to squirt oil on the underside of pistons on NOS applications when things can get very hot. sure they could be adapted to most blocks ifyou wanted to. you would have to make sure there is enough oil pressure as they are normally fed from the main bearings etc. i'd say though that with the decompression plate and a good tune you shouldn't have a problem

Your standard factory conrods already have a hole drilled in them to squirt oil up under the piston
