I wouldnt bother with extractors, Ive been told they give no benefit for street driving but make the engine compartmant lots hotter and the car lots more noisy, also much bashing is usually needed to make space for them and they always need leaks brazed up after a while

a good exhaust place will have worked out a system that gives the sound you want
extractors are for show, not go

TOTALLY FALSE! your engine will run much cooler and the noise level is not much greater recommend fitting a resinator as you were previously advised the notion bashing your car to make them fit is just ridiculous there is more than enough space for a supplied bolt on set. cast iron manifolds trap heat and in turn break mani studs which is common on the vl also flange gaskets require replacing, with extractors no more broken studs nore flange and an increased power level
belive those who have them not those who "HAVE BEEN TOLD! and don't approve of mods"
Nobody wants to play with me

What planet do you live on????

Extractors give you more torque, better economy and make the engine run more efficiently. They also dissipate the heat better, and eliminate the broken stud problem that the RB30 has.

The only thing I would say is not to fit a hi flow cat, total waste of time as the original cat does the job.

Of course...how stupid of us, we've been putting aftermarket gear on our cars that will actually impede the performance...

I put my extractors in myself, didnt need to take to any part of the engine bay with a hammer. They fit nicely in, and even got the heat shield back in without having to cut any bits out of it.

And also if he's after a system that gives him the "Sound" he wants then according to you maybe he should put extractors on because they make a stock 6 soooo noisy

VL's never came stock fitted with extractors. If yours has them then they were fitted aftermarket.

They should have a badge or stamp on them somewhere. If not they may just be a standard manifold exhaust.
