hey theres a good exhaust shop in port kennedy called sound exhaust and towbar, he does good prices aswell

I know theres one down the road towards Northbridge from city motors in a back ally called exhaust world....he quoted me pacemaker stractors and 2 and a 1/2 inch system in mild steel with tip installed for a grand

Perth Exhaust Centre on Albany Hwy. They are owned buy the same company that owns Manta Performance so they know what they are on about.

D&T Tuning in Malaga are quite good from what I understand, plus there are some great shops near where I live in Ozzy Park and Balcatta...

One question, what would be the best size for an after market exhaust? 2.5"? 3.0"? 3.5"?

On a VL I wouldn't go any bigger than 2 1/2". Price including extractors should be around $600. On top of that you need to replace all the studs. Also add the cost of getting any broken ones out. Could cost up to $1000. But I would say average around $750.
