tends to stop when the trip gets to 9km or 69km really enoughing as when i want to check full useage it stops![]()

She still runs perfecto. Not a problem, still flog it HA, nice and tidy, no leaks. I keep it maintained, Regular oil changes, coolant plugs leads etc. Fuel addative every so often. Poof thing is getting on.
Tuff Jap motor :P
Cheers
my 5ltr done 185 in the vp before it went to the wagon but my old vl calais has 93,000 kms on it when i got it and i sold it with 104,000. i was the second owner and the old couple before me had all the service books and stuff to show they were genuine kms... why would you get a car and not drive it???
Going where no late model stato/caprice has gone before.... GAME ON!!
250,685engine is well maintained and running sweet no lifter noise and temperature never reaches halfway even with air con on.
(6mth old three core radiator 3mth old water pump and timing belt )
Nobody wants to play with me
Awsome.

217 000 and my wifes has 188 000, bought my first one with 93 000 on it but it wasn't as good as the 2 we have now. they have to be run a bit to be any good i reckon none of this storing in the shed bull****. they go forever at least to 300 000 maybe 400 000 or further if you are lucky
I read somewhere that the RB30 has a "Maximum" life of 400,000km then its theoretically![]()

I'm lookin at pushin over 310,000K's after this week. Its currently sitting on ( goes and checks ) 309,513... Still going strong, and before I bought it it had the piss flogged out of it everytime it was driven... The RB30 in my opinion is the best motor Holden never made. But seriously, its one tuff peice of hardware, you can't break them...
i got mine a few years ago with 125k on the clock. its now @150k. i saw one with 800k on it and still going strong.
690,000.... It decided to jump up a couple of hundred thousand km's the other week.
this is a bit off topic, but my dads mate had a panel van since he was 17, hes an adult now. and its got 1,250,000 on the clock. but its a real rust bucket. i couldnt belive how many K's it had n still was running. doubt its original motor tho
86 model with 192xxx![]()
I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!
RIP Peter (perfect) Brock....

Mines pushing 400,000 and still goin strong. Picked it up from a mate when it had 370,000. Stacked it 2 days ago though. Just after i spent $1000 restoring the front end after it was stolen. ouch....
as for theoretically RIP @ 400,000...i rekn thats a load of crap (at least i hope it is, or that means mine is goin to pack it up any day now). I've seen a couple with nearly 800,000!
Hey Flak, you wouldent happen to play Medal of Honour Allied Assualt would you? Can't wait for my B-day to come around, the rents are gonna have my car resprayed!!! I don't think the RB30 would be RIP at 400,000. No motor has a service life that short in a car. unless its been beaten on its whole life...![]()
