Ey guys i got an 86 3.0L Wagon and I wanna know what stuff exactly I need to do a turbo conversion and make it Dose.. and a price.. if you can. Cheers

as for cost add it up
shouldnt be too bad if you get some bits cheap
this is what i have seen some parts go for as an example
ECU $150
injectors $200
crossover pipe $80
air flow meter to turbo ducting metal & plastic piping $100
detonation sensor & wiring $50 (get from NZ)
exhaust manifold $150
turbocharger $500
dump pipe & exhaust $600 (proper exhaust)



And of course, if you've got an S1 motor forget about it.



But seriously.....you want a car...just so you can dose....

go buy a ****box et turbo for 500 bucks ... whack on a cooler and dose all u want if u just want the noise LOL........... but dude save your pennys and go and buy an already turboed vl or a turbo moter..... becasue if u are asking these questions i wouldnt trust u bolting together an n/a convert

but if u must a bare bones n/a conversion kit will cost u around 1300
and would consist of
turbo
turbo lines
x over pipe
injectors
comp
dump pipe
exzaust manifold
and air intake bend that goes to the afm

its an 86 so most certain its got an s1 block


but to make it "dose" all you need is

t3 turbo
oil and coolant lines
dump pipe
front pipe
cooler
exhaust manifold
injectors
computer


that'l make it dose quite safely, once you have all done that go hit yourself with a shovel

yeah i might keep my eye out for a turbo engine.. only reason i want to make it dose is because my wags is canary yellow and it's exactly like the BT1's but in a wagon so i kinda reckon it'd be something different to see a canary yellow wags dose..

How is it any different from a polkadot pink wagon doseing?? Its just a dose, whether your car is blue, green or canary yellow its not going to make a statement just because it doses.

by a 900$ complete conversion, get a dose pipe. Then you can dose your wagon all you want.

Finding a genuine VLT engine is pretty hard, and people want an arm and a leg for them. And I don't really have all that much cash to splash
