hey, need to know how to wire the calais flip fronts up to a non calais loom. i know theres only 3 wires, 1's ground and with the other 2 one seems to mae them go up when connected to power and the other to make them go down. cheers.
If you have the proper patch harness with the relay setup that bolts to the rh front skirt, all you do is run three wires to the indicator light switch under the column and wire it into that. From memory black is earth and then you wire the other to i think one is orange and one white to the headlight wires not the parkers as the lids are suppose to come up only when headlights are turned on.
Just get a test lamp and earth one end out to the body and use the other end and prick the wires until you find the right ones.
theres one black, one blue and one green. i've got the wiring from the lights. so both the other two connect up to the headlights?
Yep thats right connect to headlights, and not parkers.
i know it isnt what you are doing but i knew a bloke that continually fought with the wiring and motors on his pop-ups so he rigged an old choke cable to 'manually' pop them. clever.....
ok i wired up the 3 wires one to ground and both the other two to the headlight wire. turned me headlights on and they came up, then i turned me headlights off and they just stayed up didn't move at all. should the other 2 wires be on a seperate wire to each other? cheers.
sorry to double post, but i need these lights operating correctly asap please. thanks for any help in advance.
