i have put new fuel filter in and car cuts out now but i throttle it and it kicks back in but its pretty bad, blocked fuel line? i dont know![]()
you"ll need to pressure test the fuel line. first at the engine 250kpa if not pressure test before the filter!
I can't see from the info provided that changing your fuel filter would have this affect.
Nobody wants to play with me
Unless you put it in backwards. Did it only do this since you changed the filter?
no it did it b4 i put new fuel filter on, but it didnt do it as bas as its doing it nowsumthing gone very wrong yet again, now i wish i can put the stuff back on for gas but i cant now as i have noone to do it![]()
Is this the same problem you were having? I still think it is your AFM or the connections around it. All the pipes are in good condition, no splits? While it is running, grab the AFM and give it a wiggle and try the plug on the side of it as well.
Could be your fuel pumps. Turn the car on and listen for a buzzing sound by the back of the car. If its buzzing then your external one is in good order. If its not then its the external one. If you have a full tank of fuel and it still does it then its possibly your internal one. But its usually that the filter was installed sdrawkcab ( backwards )![]()
Make sure it isn't sucking in any air between the air flow meter and engine. any vaccum leak will upset the AFM and cause similar symptoms
