need help urgently

hey guys i just put me vl back together and its running alright not the best when its cold it runs ok but when she heats up she wont rev pass 2500/3000
pops and farts but still idles fine and runs smooth down low. if anyone knows anythink that might be wrong with it gives us a tingle im going out of my mind

Sounds like a fuel or ignition problem. Have you checked the timing? All your fuel lines clear? Fuel pump ok?
