    Default supercharged vl

    does anyone no if sum1 has done a centriafigal supercharger set up on a vl before cos i wana put a vortech v9 on mine but want sum tips any info wuld be useful

    The kit will not fit with the power steering and air conditioning in the factory location.
    theres a major down poor if you going the crs way, but if you have a sl you should be fine.

    ive looked into it before and for the 140rwkw you will gain for price and the potention factor of upgrade (not much) its not really worth it.
    in the end it comes down to personal fact and choice.
    i decided not to as the upgrades after wasnt avalible much cost involved for so little

    its been done before..... a light blue vl from goulburn had an sta blower i think on it... it was also featured in street commodores a few years ago...apparently it made a fair amount of power

    I did an import toyota supercharger on a VL a few years ago. Had it hooked up to a missile switch that engaged the clutch a-la Mad Max style. Was a weopon in the wet if you flicked the switch at around 2500rpm. Had a tendancy to go sideways. Then I changed it to a vacuum switch that cut in when the vacuum dropped. I custom machined a power steering pump double pulley that drove it.

    a guy on calais turbo made a twincharge rb30, that thing is a beast!!
