for the cost of buying the half cut and trying to fit it and get it engeneered u could get a rb30 to go alot harder for cheaper and theres no major hurdles of engeneers certs and u know it will drop striaght in
but thats my opinion

Drop in either a VK45DE or a VK45DD, or if your feeling adventurous, and have $$$'s, then go a VK56DE. V8 and Nissan, best of both worlds!

i have a datsun 200b engine with reco gearbox i can sell you VERY cheap.
It'll fit no worries, might need a longer custom tailshaft. PM if you are keen.

The VK56 series engine is out of the Nissan Armada and Titan. They are full size SUVs and Pick Ups. The engine as strong as it is pobably isn't the best idea for a car as the horsepower only being 300HP it has a high torque figure through LOW LOW rpms. The engine won't rev out high enough to be satisfying.
If you really wanted to you could source one from America as this would be MUCH cheaper.

been done a few times before and one was even in street machine years ago i think!! even a 5ltr in a nissan bluebird has been done! also a Lexus V8 in a Celica has been done
