    Exclamation Any 1 know how to set base Throttle position

    There's a throttle stop adjuster on the throttle body what's the base setting 4 this??

    Should the throttle plate be closed/open a little/OR
    I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!

    run it in diagnostic mode and set the revs to 750-800 rpm and thats your base idle.

    Just thought do you unplug the AAC valve too while doing this?

    no cos when its in diagnostic mode it shouldnt be operating as normal...when you set the idle to 750-800 rpm the idle air control valve adjusts itself to keep the revs at base idle

    and by the way mag that little screw to adjust the throttle stop shouldn't be changed unless someone else has messed with it before you and stuffed it up

    Yeh thanks snake, I can only guess it's wrong because someones been at it as the locknut is half chewed (butt heads).
    Also the throttle plate is completely closed so much so that it sticks a bit
    I was confused now I'm just not so sure!!
