hey all, finally got my turbo on and running last w/e. only got 1 problem with it and thats the intake pipe i'm using is only a cheap silicon/rubber hose thingy. and its melting. so the cars going in to the exhaust joint tommorow to get that fixed and a few other things. one question i've got is, does anyone know how many psi 0.5 bar is? as my cars running 0.5 bar with 9.0:1 compression, i'm running 10 degrees timing and only using 98 octane fuel with a bottle of injector cleaner for each tank atm to make sure the injectors and all the fuel system gets a real nice clean out. cheers.
0.5 bar = 7psi
sweet, thanks for that. the car pulls a hell of alot harder now then before, and once it hits boost it pulls even in 5th up hill. i love it. should be gettin a front mount on in the next week or two also, then i'll prob turn it up to 10psi. only got 2.5" exhaust on it. mandrel bent cat back with single muffler and standard 2.5" infront of that.
Try to get yourself a 3 inch dump and 3 inch atleast to the cat, will make a big difference.
hope you dont blow up the diff
if you ahve any insurance, dont forget to tell them

I hope you have turbo injectors ect

yeah its on the to do list. will be getting 3 or 3.5 inch turbo back with a nice big dumpy.
diff shouldn't blow up, i just put a vl turbo dif in it a few weeks ago, and with the lsd and 245's it wouldn't pin the wheels, but i'm sure it would now if i tried.
yeah i've got the turbo injectors and fuel pump in it. the injectors were the biggest pain to change.
yeah new exhaust is on he cards.
