My VL's a write-off...... Opinions Please??

Long story short: Was hit from behind, passenger side 1/4 panel creased, boot lid is buckled, passenger side tail light is cracked, bumperbar is broken. It has been assessed & paid out & rego/ greenslip cancelled.

Luckily there is no crease in roof, therefore repairable if desired.
Car was in general good condition, engine was blowing blue smoke previous to accident.

The car is a Berlina converted into a Calais look-a-like:
-Calais front & rear end (pop up lights)
-Calais interior with Calais cluster (in fair condition)
-High flow cat.
-Extractors
-Lukey 2.5 inch muftler exhaust
-Lowered King springs
-Gas shockies
-Triple coil radiator
-Custom paint metallic maroon/purple (in good condition)
-VT SS Commodore Rims


My options (and opinions are gratefully considered!!):
1. Sell complete damaged car with no repairs. Without mags.
Unsure of Price??????? (Opinions???)
2. Strip & sell in parts, value of parts uncertain????
Eg: I have been told a 'front end' is worth up to $800 (opinion???)

Option 3: Buy another VL and transfer the bit across tot he new car, all left over parts sold.

yeah either strip it or use what parts you need (if you want another vl) then sell the rest.

If you wanna make money, then i guess strip it, but you could have your place looking like a wrecking yard with parts sitting for who knows how long. Take it to sims metal, but if you dont mind parts being everywhere then do as you wish, dont forget it costs money to keep advertising, depending where.
