hey
i recently bought a PA for my car. its a 12v system and hardly uses any power at all.
i wired it up myslef straight to the battery and the control unit is in the cabin and the speaker is in the engine bay.

is there anythgn rong with this set up at all?

Did you put a fuse in between the battery and control unit??

nah, but there is a fuse inside the control unit

So if this wire got trapped some where and shorted your pa would be safe 4 a few mins but what about the wire going to the battery it'll just glow & melt the plastic coating off and then catch on fire
