Repaint Vs. Recondition

The paint job on my VL is mostly oxidized, and I was wondering if I should get the paint professionally reconditioned or just stripped back and repainted.

How much would I be looking at for a new paint job?

An external respray the same colour I would say roughly $2k minimum....the more bodywork, the more dosh.

i would see what a detailer reckons, take it in and it will probly set you back 150 for a full cut and polish or 220 for a full detail, carpets seats engine bay underbody, everything you could imagine.

is it metallic?
most metallic paint jobs havent lasted well, I dont think they can be cut back

depends on what needs to be done?? if its just a straight paint job no body work then
$1500-$2000 roughly?? my VK is costing me about $6000 to do but that includes some rust repair and thats doing it cheapish ( friend of the family )
