cannot get started

can anyone tell me how to get my vl winding over. Ive replaced motor and 5spd conversion but not winding over or started. any help respected please

If you have changed from an auto to a manual you will have to join the wires that went to the neautral safety switch on the auto. I think there is a plug near your brake booster wheere the auto loom used to plug into and you need to join the two wires that went to the switch so your computer thinks you are in neautral, then it should wind over and start.

as tree cutter stated or you can got to the auto trans realys at the inside of the guard near the battery.

find the one with two big purple cables and

remove the relay
get a small length of cable about 2 inches long
place two flat spade connectors on both ends of cable
and push them into the purple cable plugs, so its bridged

will allow you not to have the loom pluged in up on the firewall.
