Default door hinge removal tool and pins

Where do I buy these items?

My drivers door pins may be sad and worn and I need to replace the pins.

    Any help would be gratefull.

I found this tool on ebay if anyone was interested

a tool for removing the hollow pins in many door hinges

most popular of these is the gemini and commodores

its a piece kit with 3 different punches and a cranked handle

I paid total $33 and it was NEW.

I will let you know if it doesn't work on the VL.

I brought the same sort for my VC mate ages ago, best start with the bottom first, the top is easy! if ur having trouble get a cone shape head of some type and start with that.

You can use a drill or a bolt and tap the pin out . The pins are made of spring steel and have a slot cut down the full length . For the VL find a drill or bolt which is about the same diameter as the hole in the top of the hinge and tap it out from the top . for the bottom hinge tap it out up through the top of the hinge .

    ok that tool kit was a load of **** s h i t, it was a waste of $33

Using a 12inch drill bit worked fine on the wrecked VL but I had no luck with the other car, I think the hollow pin has collapsed or is rusted in there.
I did get it to move about 3 mm but refused to move any more. (top pin)
As for the bottom pin, I didn't try it. I thought it was a waste of time removing the bottom pin if the top pin wont move.
