    Default fuel economy

    just wondering what sorta fuel economy people are getin outa there rb30's. the best i gota outa mine so far is bout 300ks to a tank.
    the germans designed it, the aussies built it, the japs got it moving and the wogs got it dosing...

    kk, iam goin to try drive it soft this week. see how it goes. ive heard once these engines get past 4grand or something they go into power mode and jst dump heaps of fuel thru.

    the avg i was getting in the berlina before i took it off the road was 500km a tank


    hears a thread from ages ago with some mileage people were getting
    fuel usage.....cant be right or can it?

    Ahhhh so you saying something like 17 or 18 litres to 100kms is normal
    Your dead wrong. My 5 speed is around 10-11L to 100kms. My old VL auto was a little worse but not much.

    mines a 5 speed and is awesome on fuel the best that mine has done is bout 800 k's to a tank of fuel on the highway and about 13 litres of fuel to 100 km around town depending on how hard i drive it . i run mine on premeim unleaded which helps and i'm rather fussy when i service it too .

    mabie a decent service and decent fuel might help ?
