The auto speeds look pretty spot on. I used to shift into second in my auto at around 80kmph. But the results for the 5 speed are way off. Im shifting into 3rd at 80kmph where it says second gear can do 107kmph.

Are you bouncing off the rev limiter? (Assuming the vl has one.......never got that high myself...) Those are the theoretical maximums of the gears/rpm combination.

Woops sorry forget to mention, there are two manual gearboxes available. Look at the turbo top speeds man. The ratios are shorter. And the gear box is apparently a LOT stronger.

Yes I'm aware. But im telling you that a standard 5 speed VL will not get close to 107kmph in second gear. Mine reaches 80kmph at around 5000rpms and begs for you to change gear.

I believe you I was thinking the 107 is a bit excessive for a 2nd gear. Seems way to tall to be terribly usable imo.
