    Default coolant symptoms Have Surfaced

    I have found out what was happening to coolant transfering into rad.all the time and not going back to res. Today I found creamy stuff in radiator,under oil cap and also in reservoir,all leading up to blown head gasket and or cracked head, am i right? feedback would be appreciated thanks guys. Martin

    Ok,well repairs start from $700 up depending on whats needed, so in went some Silver-Seal,we'll see what happens now. Martin

    I'd be getting some more quotes for your repairs, 700+ is way too much.

    New head from the wreckers/ second hand engines from a forum would be heaps less. But hopefully it's just the gasket.

    someone who really knows how to use a compression gauge could give you a good idea of whats happened

    If your taking the car somewhere for them to do the labour then it is not too expensive.

    Get them to check the cam tunnel because that is where it is most likely to crack.
