VL cutting out after I give it some revs

Hi,

My son's VL starts and idles fine,and seems to rev OK and drive OK..but every now and then, either after giving it a rev or driving it hard, it cuts out. The engine then won't start for about three minutes, after which it starts and drives fine..

I thought it was getting fuel starvation, and I have changed the low and high pressure fuel pumps. No good! Could it be that distributor module again? Or one of the fuel filters?

Could be power transistor(on the out side of the dizzy) crank angle sensor in the dizzy or coil

Check ECU error codes 1st to see what comes up
