Hey Harry I was told the test was to run the LP pump just as it comes out the tank and the flow test should be 1lt in 30secs and it did that but it would start then slow to a trickle then full flow again...

Next day I tested it for a longer time and it did the same as b4 but got slower and slower until it stayed a trickle, so put in a new one..

a remote possibility is the filter bag on it becoming blocked by sediment but I think eventually all these electric pumps simply wear out

a retailer said a common cause of a near new pump failure is sediment blockage and the pump people generally wont give any replacement until they have cut the pump in half to see if its blocked by sediment

Yep spot on Harry and they recommend that the tank be removed and cleaned 1st..

My in tank pump got replaced the other day, I was talking to the mech and he pulled the pump out to check it. And she was routed.. The filter bag and everything was missing completely.

But yes, that doesn't help, sorry.
